You must know,

•There are four main hair types for men.
•Each hair type has its own advantages and disadvantages.
•Choosing the right products for your hair type is key to achieving healthy, happy hair.

How often you should cut your hair:

Typically, men should get a haircut every two to three weeks. Definitely no less than once a
month as your hair is gonna’ get pretty crazy and out of shape if you wait that long.
Whether or not you should get a haircut ultimately comes down to how fast your hair grows
and the kind of hairstyle you’re styling. Hair grows at an average rate of about 1/2 inch per
month, and this number depends on your genetics, hair type, and lifestyle. If you’re healthy,
your hair is growing at its maximum rate. If you have a poor diet, lack exercise, have high
stress levels, or are experiencing hair loss, growth can be slower. How fast your hair grows
combined with your desired hairstyle makes all the difference.

For example, if you normally get a buzz cut, crew cut, or textured crop on top with a skin
fade on the sides, then you may need to cut your hair more often. A half an inch of hair
growth on your faded sides can throw off your short haircut. However, if you have a classic
long taper on the sides with a medium-length cut on top, then a little longer hair won’t be
noticeable.

In general, how often you should be getting your haircut comes down to hair length, budget,
and style. For short men’s haircuts, we recommend once a month at least. For medium
length hairstyles, guys can get a trim every 1 to 2 months. And for long hair, you can get a
cut once every 3 to 6 months. Just remember that your fade or undercut is going to look
messy faster so visiting your barber or stylist for a quick trim to maintain your look is always
worth it.
